CTE Inspired: Requesting Professional Development Credit

“Well, you get summers off, right?” is one of the most irritating things teachers are asked. At CEV, we recognize the countless responsibilities teachers have during the summer months, including acquiring professional development hours.

This year, iCEV is offering a unique professional development opportunity for Career & Technical Education educators by hosting CTE Inspired, our first-ever virtual conference. We are unable to guarantee professional development credit for attending sessions at a state or regional level. However, we have provided a request form you can present you administration. CTE Inspired will include 40 sessions, each 30 minutes in length, led by more than 80 educational and industry leaders.

The request form is easy to fill out, simply:

      - Download the form to either print or complete electronically
      - Select the sessions you plan to attend
      - Submit the form to your administration for approval

That’s it!

Once the conference concludes, iCEV will provide each teacher with a certificate affirming the number of hours earned.

If your administrators seem reluctant, reiterate that CTE Inspired will provide valuable information and insights on virtual settings, classroom management, content-specific advice and industry certifications. For the newest teachers utilizing iCEV, we are offering ample opportunities to learn the features of the iCEV platform, including customization options. We are even offering sessions specifically for CTE administration, so go ahead and invite them to join!

If you or your administration have any questions about CTE Inspired, please feel free to email Morgan Dixon at morgan.dixon@cevmultimedia.com or Kimberly Cantrell at kimberly.cantrell@cevmultimedia.com.

We look forward to “seeing” you August 4th and 5th
